About This Spot

Stepping into Don Rodone Ceviche in Hollywood feels like finding a hidden gem tucked away from the usual buzz, where the rhythms of coastal Peru come alive through vibrant flavors and welcoming faces. The space strikes a casual, approachable tone—lively yet unpretentious—inviting you to slow down and savor more than just a meal. It's the kind of place where the energy rises gently with the hum of conversations and the clinking of glasses, making it an easy spot to settle into an afternoon or evening with friends and family alike.

Here, the experience is as much about connection as it is about taste. You’ll notice the interplay of familiar warmth and new discoveries with every dish—whether it be the freshness of ceviche prepared with care, the charred edges of grilled octopus that hint at smoky depths, or the comforting presence of traditional favorites like Lomo Saltado or Papa a La Huancaina. The menu offers a journey through coastal and highland Peru that feels deeply personal and thoughtfully curated rather than rehearsed.

What lingers most is the sense of hospitality, where servers move through the room not just delivering plates, but helping you navigate a rich tapestry of flavors and textures. The blend of classic and unexpected—from comforting, hearty plates to lighter, zestier bites—makes each visit resonate with discovery and ease. You might find yourself savoring a glass of Inca Kola or a locally inspired drink that adds a unique touch to the meal, complementing the food effortlessly.

Families, longtime locals, and visitors new to the area gather here with a shared appreciation for authenticity and fresh ingredients. The spot offers familiar comfort without ever feeling predictable. It’s a place that inspires quiet moments of joy and shared smiles over warm, carefully prepared food.

Best Peruvian restaurant I’ve tried in a long time. Their specials are always amazing. Portion sizes are great. The service is great too!

Had not visited this restaurant in a while. I'm glad the flavor of the dishes is consistent. Congrats to the kitchen. Ordered the PARA LA REINA mix of dishes: ceviche, jalea, chaufa de mariscos and causa. Also tried the dessert of churros with Lucuma ice cream. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious! Very recommended.

Fiorella was very courteous and helpful. The ceviches were both very good and fresh. Would definitely return and recommend.

We recently moved to the area and decided to try this restaurant. At first, we thought it was closed because the sign you see from outside is actually above a barbershop, not the restaurant itself—so you really have to look closely to realize it’s there. The food was delicious, full of flavor. The trio dish could use a better presentation, but the taste was exquisite. The beer was a 10/10—served ice cold with a chilled glass too. Highly recommended!

Went there with my son and my parents who were visiting from out of town. It was first time for me and after seeing the chef on Tik-Tok, I wanted to try it out. It was the best decision ever! We had ceviche de Pescado, causa de atún, mondonguito a la italiana, tallarín verde with steak chunks, whole fried snapper and grilled octopus. The food was amazing! Every plate was so exquisite in taste that made our mouths water. The portions were perfect and the prices not too bad but definitely worth every penny. The chef is an amazing cook, I really recommend this restaurant! Thank you, Don Rodone for an incredible experience with food!

Incredible Food, Services and ambience. Best Peruvian food in Broward, Definitely you need to try the Lomo Saltado with Tallarines and Huancaina Sauce, ceviche carretillero and seafood chaufa. 5 stars on everything!

I tried the ceviche, jalea mixta, and causa, and all three were excellent. The standout was the ceviche: hands down the best I’ve had outside of Peru. Fresh, perfectly balanced, and bursting with authentic flavor. The jalea was crispy and generous, and the causa was beautifully presented and delicious. I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Peruvian food done right.

Ceviche was delicious, fairly priced and the service was great. Small calm place. Really enjoyed it.
